AC Milan striker M'Baye Niang has revealed why he turned down the chance to join Leicester City last summer.
The 21-year-old says that he was approached by Foxes manager Claudio Ranieri but rejected his advances because he didn't want to play second fiddle to Jamie Vardy.
He said: "When Claudio Ranieri called me I listened to his offer, then I spoke with my club and we decided not to do anything.
"I would have only played if Jamie Vardy was injured."
