AC Milan are ready to tie down star goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma to a brand new contract at the San Siro, according to Il Quotidiano Sportivo.

Donnarumma has burst onto the scene in spectacular fashion for AC this season and the 17-year-old is already amassed 18 appearances as number one goalkeeper for the Italian giants.

Given his meteoric rise to prominence, Donnarumma has been attracting the interest of the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United but the Rossoneri are understandably keen on keeping hold of the youngster and are now set to offer him a brand new contract in order to ward off potential suitors.
