AC Milan director of sport Ricky Massara insists there's no need to temper ambitions.

Massara was speaking before their draw with Lecce.

“The objective is to improve.

"We want to be ambitious, as we are Milan, but there are many strong teams and we don't feel that we are below them," Massara told Sky Sport Italia.

“There is a very long road ahead and our ambition is to be competitive for a Champions League place."
