AC Milan director Paolo Maldini is coy over their plans for Tottenham fullback Serge Aurier.

Maldini admits they've held talks with the defender's minders.

“We spoke to his agent last year, to be honest, now we'll see how the next few weeks go," smiled Maldini.

“When you take a directorial role, you need to learn more patience and that is the foundation of your work, because everyone wants everything straight away, especially at a club like Milan.

“When you have that quality, it helps results arrive that little bit easier. The Milan jersey is one that weighs on people, and I think the lockdown somehow helped some of those players to shake off that pressure. Having said that, I believe it was a process that began before the lockdown."
