AC Milan are in talks with Fiorentina midfielder Riccardo Montolivo.

La Nazione says Giovanni Branchini, Montolivo's agent, is working between the two clubs to make a deal happen.

Milan's latest offer is for €4 million plus a fringe player on-loan for the second-half of the season.

Fiorentina are unimpressed, but Milan are unlikely to go higher with Antonio Nocerino suddenly bursting into top form. Instead, the Rossoneri are happy to wait until June when they can sign Montolivo on a Bosman for nothing.
