AC Milan defender Mateo Musacchio insists they face Inter Milan full of confidence.

Milan can open a four-point lead on Inter with victory over their city rivals.

“It's a special week, we're working well," the defender told Sky Sport Italia.

“We've had a long week to prepare for this match. The derby is a game different to all the others. Our place in the table will really be up for grabs.

“We know we must win, not only for our head, but also for where we are in the table. I fear no one.

“We come into the game from different situations, but in a game like the derby it doesn't matter how you get there.

“We're working for [third place]. We've found balance in defence. Conceding only a few goals is very important and we want to go on like this."
