AC Milan defender Simon Kjaer admits he'd like to play more.

The Dane has played 15 matches this term, collecting barely 1,000 minutes with the Rossoneri.

“Sometimes it goes as you want, but other times it does not happen," he told DR.

“At the end of the day, the coach decides, but the match against Tottenham in the Champions League was probably my best after the injury, so I am annoyed that I haven't played since then.

“I've been training with no stops for two months, something I hadn't done for eight years, so my shape has nothing to do with it, I am at my best.

“I still have under and energy to play football and I want to continue being so."
