AC Milan defender Calabria reveals squad crunch talks ahead of Supercoppa Italiana

AC Milan defender Davide Calabria says the players have discussed their recent form slump ahead of the Supercoppa Italiana clash with Inter Milan.

Milan have drawn their last two Serie A games and been eliminated from the Coppa Italia.

"We have spoken but we are as competitive as we were before. I didn't see my teammates sad, we didn't get the results we wanted, but we should not have negative thoughts for this reason. We must continue to play as we are doing and results will come," Calabria said.

“Those with more experience talk, but the whole team takes responsibility. If we want to become a top team, everyone must feel part of this project.

“What we told each other must remain inside the dressing room. We have a final tomorrow and we must give our all to win this match.

“We want to win more, this is what a great team must aim for," the captain continued.

“The season is long a physical drop is normal, we want to win this game, this is our focus. We have studied some situations and we no longer want to make certain mistakes."
