The continued failure of strikers Filippo Inzaghi and Alberto Gilardino has all but ensured that January's transfer market will see Milan push for an in-form striker.

With Brazilian ace Ronaldo still not fit, the door is open for Milan to move for a quality signing come January 1st.

The much-maligned form of Alberto Gilardino has been a sore point of discussion for Milan fans, and with Filippo Inzaghi also finding difficulty hitting the back of the net, a return to the San Siro could be on the cards for former star Andre Shevchenko.
