AC Milan are in contact with the agent of Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic.

The Serb is inside the final 12 months of his current deal and manager David Moyes admitted last week that talks over a new contract had yet to commence.

Milan are keen to tempt Vidic to Italy and believe they're at an advantage with the 31 year-old counting on Italian Silvano Martina as his agent.

Moyes has made it clear he wants to keep his club captain.
