AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli says Zlatan Ibrahimovic is close to a playing return.

Pioli is happy with progress the Swede is making in his injury recovery.

He said, "He is certainly better than a week ago. He does many individualised jobs, but he is better and therefore his time has increased, then we'll see what choices to make."

On Olivier Giroud's impact, Pioli was positive.

He continued: "(He gives us) quality, professional depth and technical depth. He is a very important man in our group. From today I expect something more from everyone or in any case I expect the best from everyone. So far we have given 98 or 99, now we must start giving 100."
