AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli admits Olivier Giroud is unlikely to start tomorrow night at Champions League opponents Liverpool.
Giroud is at Anfield under a cloud, but Pioli says he's brighter today.
Pioli said: "On Monday I found him a bit down, yesterday and today he was better. He certainly doesn't have ninety minutes, at these levels being still for two weeks makes you miss something. But he's fine.
"Ante (Rebic) comes from an excellent performance, he gave us quality: I'm sure whoever starts and whoever takes over will be ready."
He also said: "We have to be intelligent on the pitch and allow space. But the same goes for them. Liverpool want to attack, we will have to be good at recovering the ball and looking for depth. We will need to read their game and high-level technical plays."
