AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli says he's counting on Olivier Giroud.

The France striker is being linked with Manchester United this week.

However, Pioli says he expects Giroud and France teammate Theo Hernandez to be fully committed to Milan after the World Cup.

The coach said, "We spoke immediately after the final, but also during their holidays.

"I congratulated him, confirmed their international level, were very happy to come back here and it is a very positive aspect."
