AC Milan coach Rino Gattuso has taken a swipe at Chelsea signing Gonzalo Higuain.

Juventus striker Higuain ended his Milan loan this week to move to Chelsea.

Gattuso said, "The fact that Higuain complained of overloaded training? Everyone complains, but to play football, you have to run and make the effort. There is no magic wand.

"It's the past, he made his choice, I thank him for what he gave me, and he left so many good things ... He could have done more, we could have helped him more. When he did not find the way to the nets, the newspapers targeted him, there was a pressure around him."
