AC Milan coach Rino Gattuso admits he wants greater passion from his players.
Milan meet Sampdoria on the back of defeat to Europa League opponents Real Betis.
Gattuso lamented, “Considering the way it was going, I thought it could end in a goalfest for them. Betis destroyed us in terms of quality and it was a huge disappointment to me, but I never stopped believing in these lads.
“It's the whole team that isn't working and that means Gonzalo Higuain doesn't get the service. Having said that, I told him that he needs to be less irritable and should applaud his teammates rather than shout at them.
“I think there is too much talk about this situation, as if I'm the only Coach in the world who is on the edge. I know these lads believe in me, and we are struggling badly, but I put myself on the line for them.
“Tomorrow I want to see 23 lions with a sense of desire and belonging to this club. I don't even care about the tactics, I just want to see 23 rabid dogs eager to prove themselves. I want to see everyone with Patrick Cutrone's energy, vehemence and passion."
