AC Milan coach Brocchi defends his players after Frosinone thriller

AC Milan coach Cristian Brocchi defended his players after their 3-3 draw with Frosinone.

A last minute Jeremy Menez spotkick earned the point at home.

“As soon as the game started, Frosinone took the lead out of nowhere and in a difficult moment of the season already that will inevitably be a psychological blow," Brocchi told Mediaset Premium and Sky Sport Italia.

“I do not agree with those who say Milan fell apart today. Milan cannot concede three goals at San Siro, that is true, and the result was not good. But we played well.

“Today was one of those games that football gives you sometimes.

“In my four games on the bench, we have shown fragility, but today I saw a strong reaction and Milan didn't disappear, we remained in the match throughout.

“If you are fragile and do not have pride, you don't come back from 3-1 down. If you say this was a negative performance in defence when Frosinone scored three of their only four attempts, I cannot agree with that."
