AC Milan coach Max Allegri was pleased with their 1-1 draw against Arsenal yesterday.
Milan striker Alexandre Pato cancelled out Marouane Chamakh's opener.
"I am satisfied at the work done on the field, which reflects the good things we have been whittling down in training," said Allegri.
"I particularly liked Mathieu Flamini, who often got himself into a scoring position, and a round of applause goes to Christian Abbiati for his saves.
"It's just a shame that we allowed five counter-attacks by losing the ball in midfield, but we did well to recover against an Arsenal side that starts its season in just 10 days."
