AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani admits a deal for Barcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is unlikely.
The Swede is currently unhappy at Barcelona, fuelling reports he will come to San Siro this season on loan.
"Ibrahimovic is a great player who earns an impossible sum for Italian football," the Rossoneri Vice-President told 7 Gold television.
"There are two reasons for this. Firstly Barcelona make double what Milan do. Secondly in Spain the tax rate on wages for footballers is 24 per cent, while in Italy the gross is roughly double the net sum.
"This regime no longer exists from January 1 2010, but not when it comes to old contracts.
"This is why I say that Ibrahimovic at Milan is 99.9 per cent a dream. Having said that, dreams are always enjoyable to experience, so we'll see what happens in the final week of the transfer session."
