AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani admits he's surprised by the spending power of Brazilian clubs. Galliani sold striker Alexandre Pato to Corinthians in January.
He revealed: "When I was between Christmas and New Year in Sao Paulo for the sale of Pato, I realized how the market had changed.
"Before you'd go there to buy, now you go to sell. The €7 million paid for Kaka wouldn't go far now.
"Currently the nation that seems to produce most talent is Colombia.
"Robinho? He's great at Milan, he does not want to go to Brazil. He wants to be here. Alternatively or as a family he wants to return to Santos. And they're the only team in which he would like to go. But he is happy here as we are happy to have him with us."
Is Galliani right about Brazilian football? Are they now major buyers in the transfer market? Give us your shout below...
