AC Milan chief Fassone on Chievo win: The team now reflects Gattuso qualities

AC Milan chief Marco Fassone says the players are "absorbing" the methods of coach Rino Gattuso.

Milan fought back from a goal down to beat Chievo Verona 3-2 on Sunday.

"This Milan side has changed and it's down to Gattuso, but despite the difficulties, the team is playing great football," Fassone told Sky Sport Italia.

“The squad has absorbed the characteristics of its Coach and this means we can see the game with a different sentiment."

It has been reported Gattuso, promoted from the Primavera youth team role after Vincenzo Montella was fired, will be offered a new contract to June 2020.

“We have no doubts on Rino, as he proved what he needed to. There is a rapport of such transparency that we'll find time to sit down and talk about it."
