AC Milan captain Alessio Romagnoli admits they weren't good enough for defeat to Europa League opponents Real Betis.

Milan lost 2-1 at home.

“We gifted them 75 minutes, as we played really badly and should've done much more. We have to do far more already from Sunday," the defender told Sky Sport Italia.

“It's a period in which everything we do doesn't come out right. We've got a lot of work to do."

Asked about playing three at the back, Romagnoli added: “That is up to the coach."
