AC Milan boss Pippo Inzaghi again used Alessio Cerci off the bench in their 0-0 draw with Chievo Verona.

Cerci denied reports last week that he was frustrated with his limited role.

"Alessio can play as a support striker and could be a trequartista in better condition. It hurts me too that I leave out players like Cerci and Pazzini, but these are the circumstances right now.

"Alessio is a player I wanted and we'll get the best out of him, but let's not forget he barely played for six months, so needs time to find his form.

"We tried to score in every possible way tonight. I thought Mattia Destro had a great performance and worked hard for the team."
