AC Milan have made contact with Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri this week, it has been revealed.
Defeat in the Coppa Italia semifinal last night to Lazio isn't a decisive blow for Milan coach Rino Gattuso, but feelers have been sent out for potential replacements.
TMW says Milan were in contact with Sarri before the game.
And while the feedback is that any move would prove difficult, Milan have made it clear they'd like to explore bringing Sarri back to Serie A should they choose to axe Gattuso.
Milan chief Ivan Gazidis wants a big name and Sarri is high on the agenda.
However, the Italian would also need some convincing as he's committed to his Blues job.
