The Daily Express says Grant has been handed a £60million warchest by Roman Abramovich and told to stamp his own mark on his Chelsea team.

Grant, who celebrated his fifth win in a row as Blues manager on Saturday with the 6-0 thrashing of Manchester City, will be given money to strengthen his side in the January transfer window.

The Israeli said: "Even if we make changes to our squad in January, we will change no more than five or 10 per cent of the squad, because there is quality enough there.

"We will only do it if we find one or two players that can make us better."
