Roman Abramovich visited his Chelsea players at Cobham yesterday to discuss their massive game with Liverpool on Sunday.
The Russian owner spoke with several players, Carlo Ancelotti, the manager, and Eugene Tenenbaum, a director and one of Abramovich's closest associates, before watching a competitive training session that represented a considerable improvement on the performance in Wednesday's 1-0 Champions League win over Apoel.
Blues manager Carlo Ancelotti said: "[Abramovich] watched training and said hello to the players.
"I didn't ask him if he was worried. I think he is happy because his team is on the top of the table and top of their Champions League group."
