Abraham penalty takes Aston Villa into play-off final

Aston Villa did just enough to earn their place in the Championship play off final.

They faced off against West Bromwich Albion in the second leg of the tie, having given themselves a 2-1 lead after the first leg.

While they lost the game 1-0 to a Craig Dawson goal, they were 4-3 victors on penalties.

Tammy Abraham, who was crucial in the first leg as well, netted the critical penalty for the Birmingham club.

Villa will be hoping they can win the final to get back into the Premier League after a tumultuous few seasons.

Their goalkeeper Jed Steer was the hero of the occasion, saving two penalties in the shootout to help his team over the line.

Villa will play either Leeds or Derby, who face off tomorrow.
