Gary Ablett is set to leave Liverpool in a shock development.
The Sun says Ablett is set to leave at the end of the season after a hugely disappointing campaign, which has seen Liverpool's second string anchored to the foot of the table.
Despite the poor results, Ablett has overseen the promotion of the likes of Jay Spearing, Stephen Darby and David Ngog to the first team this season.
