Gary Ablett expects to be in charge of Liverpool reserves next season.

Ablett has been linked with a move away from Anfield after a disappointing campaign, but says he is already focusing on getting more his youngsters into the first team next term.

"It is an achievement for those boys this season and they have deserved it," Ablett told liverpoolfc.tv.

"They have all got a chance because they have performed to a very consistent level for the reserves. It's an achievable target and hopefully next season we can get one or two more through."
