Aberdeen's Osbourne sidelined for up to six weeks

Aberdeen midfielder Isaac Osbourne is likely to miss up to six weeks with a severe hamstring injury.

The 26-year old Englishman sustained a hamstring tear in the 1-0 win over Dundee on Friday night and will now look to recover after only returning to the Dons line-up in January from a previous hamstring problem.

"To lose Isaac again last Saturday to another injury is a huge disappointment for the squad," Aberdeen boss Craig Brown told the club's official website.

"Having just returned to the team in recent weeks, he had made a positive impact on our performances and he will be sadly missed.

"Isaac is a consummate professional and he will work extremely hard to ensure his rehabilitation from this injury is swift."
