Aberdeen lose young gun Jack for two months

Aberdeen have dealt a blow with news that talented midfielder Ryan Jack could miss up to two months.

The 21-year old Scotland U21 star has sustained a double tear in his hip following the weekend's 2-2 draw with Motherwell and will now be sidelined for some weeks according to a statement on the Dons' official website.

"Scans have this morning revealed that Ryan Jack will be sidelined for six to eight weeks following the injury incurred during Saturday's match against Motherwell," read the statement.

"Ryan has suffered a double tear in the hip area and will now sadly miss our semi-final against St Johnstone this weekend.

"Everyone at the club wishes him a speedy recovery."
