Aaron Ramsdale has vowed to seize his chance at Bournemouth.

Manager Eddie Howe decided to loan experienced veteran Asmir Begovic on Monday and put his faith in England U21 international Ramsdale.

"I was thinking a year in the Championship is probably best for me after seeing what happened to Dean Henderson (at Sheffield United),' Ramsdale said before the Under 21s travel to Turkey on Friday.

"The manager said, "I want you to come back because there's not set a No 1 this year, it's a clean slate"

"It was then a big deep breath moment when he said the shirt was mine until I give him reason to rethink.

"When you watch yourself on Match of the Day, which I watched as a kid like everyone else, it really is a pinch yourself moment. It's worked out quite well because the defenders haven't had too much time to think "he's 21, he's played no games"."
