The A-League team of the Week for week ending November 7 was headed by Brisbane Roar players this week.
But to look past the ladder leaders, there are plenty of players who performed well on the A-League stage in the past week.
Gold Coast United's Michael Thwaite was a rock in defence against his former club Melbourne Victory in his side's 1-0 win whilst teammate Zenon Caravella moved from midfield to right full-back to be arguably best afield as Miron Bleiberg shuffled with his Gold Coast line-up.
Dutch centre-half Patrick Zwaanswijk did not put a foot wrong as he scored to help Central Coast Mariners to a narrow 1-0 win over North Queensland Fury on Friday night with Oliver Bozanic putting in a good shift on the left whilst Hiro Moriyasu was exciting on the right for Sydney FC in their win over Newcastle Jets.
And Wellington Phoenix midfielder marked his return to form with two cracking goals this week - the first a right-footed piece of mastery in the 4-1 loss to Brisbane Roar on Wednesday and the second a left-foot cracker in the 1-0 win over Perth Glory on Sunday.
