Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are joining forces in order to receive £350,000-per-week contracts at Arsenal, according to The Mirror.

The pair is currently on £140,000-per-week with one year to run on their contracts.

Both players have failed to commit their futures to the club, and it is now understood that they have agreed to ask for the same amount of wages in their new deals.

If they fail to come to an agreement, Ozil and Sanchez can leave the club next summer for nothing.

German international Ozil has been offered £280,000-per-week but has insisted on holding out for the new sum with his teammate.

Manchester City and Bayern Munich have reportedly shown interest in acquiring Sanchez.
