Cesc Fabregas feels he has sent a strong message to the press with his match-winning performance for Chelsea.
The Spanish midfielder has been heavily linked with a Stamford Bridge departure having failed to start in the Premier League for Antonio Conte this season.
There have been plenty of reports of late regarding Fabregas moving to Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan or Sevilla in January but he made it clear that he is committed to Chelsea after scoring an extra-time brace as the Blues came from two goals down to beat Leicester City 4-2 in the EFL Cup third round on Tuesday night.
"I was happy to play first of all from the start, and secondly if I can help the team then fantastic," Fabregas told Sky Sports.
"Hopefully this will shut up a few journalists, a few dailies, a few whatever, who are talking rubbish all the time and focus on what's important, Chelsea winning.
"I'm focusing on playing well and when I have the chance I'll show what I can do, because I know what I can do and it's a lot for this team."
