Xerez sign Atlante star Giancarlo Maldonado

Xerez have swooped for Venezuelan attacking midfielder Giancarlo Maldonado.

Maldonado moves to Xerez from Mexico's Atlante, where he played 27 games last season, scoring five goals.

The midfielder has signed a 12- month deal with Xerez.
