Wolves skipper Jody Craddock insists Andy Keogh will prove himself Premiership class.

The 23-year-old Irish international has found himself out of the team in recent weeks following a run of just one goal in eight league starts.

Craddock, who scored both goals in yesterday's 2-2 draw at Stoke City, said: "Andy Keogh is amazing, he is fantastic.

“He works so hard in training. He is fit and strong and for him to score as early as he did in the season was fantastic. I was so pleased for him at the time and he deserved all the praise that came his way.

“All the boys deserve praise. We have proved that we can play in the Premiership.

“The thing with Andy is that it is a long season. We have a lot of games still to go and he has already proven he is a great player.

“Early in the season he did amazingly well on his own up front.

“He deserves much credit for that and his time will come again.”
