Wigan Athletic striker Jason Scotland has been told he still has plenty of improvement in him.
Scotland, 30 is no spring chicken. But boss Roberto Martinez, who signed the Trinidadian from Swansea, insists the hitman is yet to reach his prime.
Martinez, whose side visit Hull today, said: "I believe Jason's best years are ahead of him. He is proof that age is not a problem if you look after your body.
"Ryan Giggs is still a world-class performer at the age of 35.
"Jason is 30 but football-wise he is very young. The hunger he has and desire to be successful lets him hide behind that age."
