Wigan Athletic chairman Dave Whelan won't consider selling Luis Antonio Valencia to Real Madrid.
Madrid have bid £15million for the Ecuador wideman, 23. But manager Steve Bruce does not want to sell Valencia — and has chairman Whelan’s backing.
A JJB insider revealed to the News of the World: “Dave trusts Steve to do what’s right for the club. There is no pressure to sell anyone if he doesn’t want to.”
