West Ham looking to offload striker Diamanti back to Italy

Sky Sports claims Alessandro Diamanti is discussing personal terms with Brescia.

The West Ham striker moved to Upton Park from Livorno last summer and proved a hit with Hammers fans as he scored seven top flight goals to help keep Gianfranco Zola's side up.

However, the 27-year-old seems surplus to requirements under new chief Avram Grant, with just one substitute start this term.

Sky Sports News understands that a fee has been agreed between the two clubs and that Diamanti is now discussing personal terms.
