West Ham boss Zola calm over Cole fitness

West Ham manager Gianfranco Zola says there is no worries regarding the fitness of striker Carlton Cole.

The 26-year old has been struggling with a knee injury in recent times and was used sparingly by Zola in the 4-1 loss to Chelsea on Saturday but the Italian has confirmed he that there is no real issue in regards to the fitness of the England striker.

“Carlton's problem is no big deal,” Zola said. “This week he could not train properly, he just trained a couple of days. So I thought it was an opportunity for me to make a couple of changes. But it is nothing major and he will be back soon.

"We have another tough match against Arsenal coming up and I don't want to go there already beaten. I have told the players I'm not going to give up on anything."
