Chris Blunt hopes West Bromwich Albion fans give Fulham midfielder Jonathan Greening pelters today.

Chris Blunt hopes West Bromwich Albion fans give Fulham midfielder Jonathan Greening pelters today.

Brunt is loving life in the top six and ex-Baggies skipper Greening and another Albion old boy Zoltan Gera are his next targets.

Both will be back at their former club today with Fulham.

The 25-year-old Northern Ireland international said: "It's a more intelligent place since Jonno left.

"He was on the receiving end of practical jokes because he was such an easy target. Those were two big personalities and good players for the club. It will be nice to see them come back.

"I texted Jonno a couple of weeks back saying I'd seen someone who looks like him - some tramp on the street.

"He had loads of nicknames - tramp, Jesus and jigsaw. Jigsaw? He goes to pieces in the box.

"He used to score 100 goals in training but come Saturday he'd never score. I won't be putting my money on him for first goalscorer!"
