Ishmail Miller is determined to prove himself at West Bromwich Albion this season.

The former Manchester City striker is prepared to fight for his place in the team as Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo continues to target Liverpool forward David Ngog as a loan signing.

"I have got far more to offer than anyone has seen here at Albion and was just starting to get into the swing of things last time we were in the Premier League," said Miller.

"I was making a name for myself even though I was only at 85 per cent of the maximum I could show and then got injured.

"Now I feel sharp and when I am 100 per cent it is very hard for anyone to keep me out of the side.

"That's the only thing I need to worry about. It doesn't matter who the club bring in."
