West Brom are out of the FA Cup - and have also lost on-loan striker Jay Simpson to a hamstring injury.

The Baggies were bundled out by Championship outfit Burnley and manager Tony Mowbray conceded: "Every football match is important, and today was another game for us.

"It looks like Jay has a slight strain on his hamstring, which obviously doesn't help the cause, but we're going to have to deal with it.

"Let's give Burnley credit. They worked extremely hard, they got the goals and obviously we missed a few chances.

"We started to control the game and then found ourselves 1-0 down to a great strike.

"The strikers of Burnley showed great desire and quality around the final third, which was probably the difference.

"We lacked the clinical touch and those problems have been around us all season."
