Werder Bremen coach Schaaf: Real Madrid midfielder Ozil not that good

Werder Bremen coach Thomas Schaaf says Mesut Ozil's move to Real Madrid is no great loss.

Schaaf has criticised the Germany midfielder's consistency.

"When we speak of Mesut now, we only talk about his Gala performances," Schaaf told Syker Kreiszeitung.

"But there were also periods of weak performance, such as in the early spring last year."
