Arsene Wenger has told Arsenal fans his team are ready to be champions.
Talking at a question and answer session for shareholders last night, Wenger claimed Arsenal are now ready to depose Chelsea as Premier League champions but says Sunderland on Saturday will be a real acid test of their credentials.
Wenger said: "Chelsea are flying that's why Saturday is vital and I believe we can take over. We play with similar styles to Barcelona but we are stronger now and if we meet them again then we will be prepared.
"I know the fans love this club and I work every day to make us all proud and be successful."
