Wenger must cope without van Persie for six weeks

Robin van Persie is out for around six weeks with an ankle injury sustained at Blackburn Rovers.

The Dutchman injured his ankle against Blackburn on August 28 and is set to be ruled out until the middle of next month.

A statement on the club website read: "Robin van Persie will have to wait a little longer before he is back in the first-team frame. The Dutchman injured his ankle against Blackburn Rovers on August 28 and will be sidelined for longer than first anticipated.

"Van Persie is likely to be out of action until mid-October."

losing van ***** is a huge bonus he is uttercrap hopefully he cant make it bk into the team and he is sold ...without a decent striker it will be 5 more years...
