Wenger has no complaints as Arsenal fall at Sunderland
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger had no complaints after their defeat at Sunderland.
The Gunners were undone by Darren Bent's scrambled goal from a corner.
Defeat left the Gunners eight points adrift of Barclays Premier League leaders Chelsea, and manager Wenger admitted they had only themselves to blame.
He said: "We lost a game and we can only fault ourselves because we didn't score.
"Some players were not at their best and we gave a goal away on the only situation where Sunderland could score one today, a set-piece, and that sums it up well.
"Rather than focusing on any individual, I believe it's more down to the fact that we made a big mistake on the corner, because the game was there for the taking in the last 20 minutes.
"But of course, 1-0 down makes it more difficult."

Arsenal never looked like winning or scoring a goal last evening. They couldn't play because Sunderland would not let them. Sunderland's tactic is to disrupt everytime Arsenal had the ball and referee Alan Wiley is prone to ignore all fouls against Arsenal. Remember he is a MU guy. Arsenal's mistake was to play faster and faster but unfortunately Sunderland was quick and fit enough to do all type of disturbances. Arsenal's midfield was often muscle off the ball because they were lightweights. Nasri, Rosicky, Ramsey, Walcott and Eduardo couldn't do their things. Mr. Stubborn Wenger refused to believe he need new players and now this another proof that he do not have the good enough replacements. He should use Merida instead because Nasri and Rosicky were overran physically by Sunderland players. In a physical encounter like this bigger players can hold off the physical challenges better. Song have to worked overtime for all misplaced passes by Nasri, Ramsey and Rosicky. Mr. Wenger you have eyes to see and you should realised yesterday's squad won't make it to the Premier League title. You should have players to brutalised Sunderland, eye for an eye. Sorry this match is like lightweights against Heavyweights, there was no skill or tactics, just physically aggression and with a Mickey Mouse goalie like Almunia, 'Its is a no contest' so said Muhammad Ali.
actually he did complain. Check out the sun
