Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock has been assured by chairman Simon Jordon that he is under no pressure to sell any of his players in January.

Warnock had been expected to oversee a mass exodus in the January transfer window due to the club's perilous finances.

"I have not been told I have to sell players," he told the Croydon Guardian.

"It was a meeting we have every few months and we just talked about general things that's all.

"We all know it is difficult at the minute financially so I was just seeing if I could help and what needed to be done."
