Villa wants £200,000-a-week to make Man Utd move

It wasn't just the £40 million price-tag that scared Manchester United off signing Valencia striker David Villa.

The Mail on Sunday says the 28 year-old was also demanding £200,000-a-year to make the move to Old Trafford.

Villa, 29, is almost certain to leave Valencia at the end of the season, with the club's debts having risen to £600m.
