Villa coach MacDonald in frame for Hibs job
Aston Villa reserves coach Kevin MacDonald is a candidate for the Hibs job.
The Daily Mail says MacDonald has emerged as a contender to succeed John Hughes for the vacant manager's job at Hibernian.
MacDonald, 49, was in charge of Villa for the first seven games of the season on a caretaker basis following Martin O'Neill's resignation.
After rejecting the chance to become Gerard Houllier's assistant, he returned to his role with the reserves.
